I was always fascinated with the way a pair of glasses could change somebody’s whole persona, and it was always interesting to see what type of frames people would choose. My father was a technical geek, and there is nothing he doesn’t know about lenses and frames, so he was always confident people would leave the boutique seeing better and looking better. And they did. When I told him last year that we should bring our brand to London, he was over the moon.
