For The Children

I am Annika, a studio and outdoor photographer in Maida Vale, West London. I love to photograph people, so I offer child photography, family photography, headshots and dance photography. In addition, I offer pet photography and any other commercial photographic project you might have in mind.

Childhood is short and precious. This is why I enjoy turning some of these moments into small pieces of art in a genuine and joyful way. Above all, I aim to provide authentic, artistic portraits that reflect the sitter’s personality. In brief, I think I can describe myself as relaxed and calm, qualities that translate into my sessions. Post-processing is an important part of my work. As a result, I strive to make your images look perfect and exactly as you love them without looking over-edited. I am certainly setting high standards for my work and will only deliver high-quality images and prints.

My work does not only include families, children, pets and headshots but I also love creative challenges. For example, some of my favourite projects were illustrating a cookbook and doing fashion shoots of some breathtaking costumes. Also, I loved working with musicians to create images for their shows and albums. Apart from taking photographs in the studio, I am keen to experiment and find creative ways to express myself through photography and digital manipulation. Similarly, during my time at college, I fell in love with experimental photography. This love still carries forward into my passion for Blue Prints and making them accessible for portrait clients.
